With the international break upon us, we’ll be showcasing the eight international players (with a few honorable mentions) that will be featured in the USMNT’s two Nations League matches against Canada and Cuba.

John Brooks:

Possibly to keep him fresh due to recent injuries, Brooks was on the bench in Wolfsburg’s loss to Leverkusen at home. This is great news for USMNT fans as he should be fully healthy in camp for the first time in a year.

Sergiño Dest:

Dest is almost guaranteed to be cap-tied during this international break, officially making him a USMNT player. This past weekend he got 35 minutes off the bench in a 4-0 win against Utrecht. His recent rest should mean he’s fresh for both matches.

Tim Ream:

Tim Ream makes his first Americans Abroad appearance this season. Ream has played and started in fifteen of Fulham’s sixteen matches so far this season and got the full 90 minutes last weekend against Birmingham in a 1-0 win. It should be interesting to see if he gets a start against Canada or Cuba as his place in the starting XI under Gregg Berhalter hasn’t been a guarantee especially with the return of Brooks.
